Kensville Open 2017 presented by PGTI tees off on September 5
• Kensville Open makes its debut on PGTI
• Prize purse of Rs. 40 lakhs
• Field to feature leading professionals Khalin Joshi, Mukesh Kumar, Mithun Perera
The Kensville Golf & Country Club and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) have jointly launched the Kensville Open 2017 presented by PGTI. The tournament, carrying a prize purse of Rs. 40 lakhs, will be played at the Kensville Golf & Country Club in Ahmedabad from September 5th – 8th, 2017.
The tournament features some of the top Indian professionals such as Khalin Joshi, Mukesh Kumar, Shamim Khan, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Honey Baisoya and Udayan Mane, to name a few.
The international challenge will be led by the Sri Lankan quartet of Mithun Perera, Anura Rohana, N Thangaraja and K Prabagaran, Australian Kunal Bhasin, South African Damian Naicker, Swaziland’s Arthur Horne and Nepal’s Toran Bikram Shahi.
The two Ahmedabad-based golfers in the field are amateurs Varun Parikh and Anshul Patel.
