Chawrasia slips to tied 21st at Made in Denmark
India’s SSP Chawrasia lost ground in his title chase after he posted a third round even-par-71 to slip to tied 21st place at the Made in Denmark on Saturday.
Chawrasia who is currently second on the Asian Tour Order of Merit, started the day just one shot back of the leader in tied second place. An opening bogey however set him back quickly.
The 39-year-old recovered his brief advantage when he fired three birdies on the third, fifth and sixth hole to move ahead before he dropped another shot on seven.
Chawrasia got that shot back with another birdie on the following eighth hole but two more bogeys on 10 and 12 after the turn saw him end his round with a three-day total of seven-under-222, seven shots behind English leader David Horsey.
