Rahil Gangjee tied for 12th halfway through Fiji International
Anirban Lahiri fires first round 65 to be tied 13th at Wyndham Championship
Rahil Gangjee followed up his opening round of three-under-69 with an even-par-72 in round two of the Fiji International to be placed tied 12th, four off the lead. Gangjee's total read three-under-141 at the halfway stage of the tournament tri-sanctioned by the European Tour, Asian Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.
Rahil, who was tied eighth after the first round, slipped four places on day two as he had a quiet round that saw him make a birdie and a bogey.
Shubhankar Sharma, who was tied 58th at two-over-146, was the second Indian to make the cut.
Elsewhere, at the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship in North Carolina, USA, Anirban Lahiri got off to a brilliant start with a five-under-65 in the first round to occupy tied 13th place.
Lahiri made an eagle, four birdies and a bogey during his opening round. The Indian star's putter was on fire as he sank four putts from a range of 15 to 20 feet.
Arjun Atwal, the other Indian in the field, began with a one-under-69 to be tied 85th.
