Chawrasia slips to tied 16th at Nordea Masters, Lahiri rises to tied 40th at The Memorial
India's SSP Chawrasia slipped eight places to tied 16th at the European Tour's Nordea Masters in Sweden after he followed up his first round of two-under-71 with an even-par-73 in round two on Friday.
Chawrasia, who won the European Tour's Indian Open earlier this year, totaled two-under-144 at the halfway stage and trailed the leader Jamie Donaldson of Wales by six shots.
SSP's second round featured three birdies, a bogey and a double bogey.
Elsewhere, at The Memorial Tournament, a PGA Tour event being played in Dublin, Ohio, Anirban Lahiri, who had posted a two-over-74 in round one to be tied 63rd, climbed up 23 places to tied 40th after his second round of two-under-70.
Lahiri, who made seven birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey on day two, managed to take his total score to even-par-144.
He was 14 shots off the lead.
