Arjun Atwal lies tied 11th in round two of Panasonic Open in Japan
India's Arjun Atwal shot consecutive scores of two-under-69 to be placed tied 11th at four-under-138 after round two of the Panasonic Open in Japan.
He trailed the leader, Jason Knutzon of the United States, by five strokes.
Atwal, the highest-placed Indian at the halfway stage, climbed five spots from his overnight tied 16th as a result of his second round effort.
Gaganjeet Bhullar (72-69) was in tied 32nd at one-under-141.
SSP Chawrasia (71-71) was the third Indian to make the cut at even-par-142. He was placed tied 46th.
