Lahiri moves into tied seventh at Genesis Open after second round 67
India’s Anirban Lahiri (70-67) moved into tied seventh place after carding a four-under-67 in round two of the Genesis Open on the PGA Tour.
Lahiri had earlier shot a first round score of one-under-70. He could play only one hole, which he birdied, in the third round which was suspended due to fading light on Saturday.
His total thus stood at six-under, four adrift of the leader Dustin Johnson of the United States.
The tournament lost an hour to fog Thursday, then seven hours when heavy rain and wind arrived in southern California on Friday, and two more hours Saturday morning to get the course cleaned up for play.
Lahiri had made five birdies against a lone bogey in the second round.
