Four Indians make the halfway cut
India's Jeev Milkha Singh jumped 26 places to tied 17th in round two of the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth. The former Asia No. 1 followed up his first round 70 with a four-under-68 in round two that moved his total to six-under-138.
Australia’s Brett Rumford was the halfway leader at 13-under-131 at the AUD$1.75 million event which is tri-sanctioned by the European Tour, Asian Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.
Jeev Milkha Singh sank five birdies and dropped a lone bogey on Friday.
SSP Chawrasia (71-68) and Chiragh Kumar (70-69) were both in tied 26th at five-under-139.
Gaganjeet Bhullar (72-69), in tied 41st at three-under-141, was the fourth and last Indian to make the halfway cut of two-under-142.
Golf history will be made at the Lake Karrinyup Country Club with the introduction of a novel format which sees the top 24 players after 54 holes making it through to a six-hole matchplay format this week.
The top eight players after the third round will be rewarded with an automatic seeding into the second matchplay round.
