Anirban Lahiri claims tied seventh at Maybank Championship

Shubhankar Sharma is tied ninth, bags third straight top-10

India's Anirban Lahiri (69-68-69-68) came up with a four-under-68 in the final round of the Maybank Championship in Malaysia to finish tied seventh at 14-under-274.

Lahiri, who gained two places from his overnight tied ninth, ended the week five shots behind the eventual champion Fabrizio Zanotti of Paraguay at the US$ 3 million event co-sanctioned by the European Tour and the Asian Tour.

Shubhankar Sharma (68-68-71-69) also climbed two spots to finish tied ninth thanks to his last round of 69. His total stood at 12-under-276. It was Shubhankar's third successive top-10 of the season.

Rashid Khan (69) and Shiv Kapur (70) also made a move up the leaderboard in the final round as both secured tied 12th place at nine-under-279. While Rashid moved up 11 spots on day four, Shiv climbed four places.

Gaganjeet Bhullar shot a 72 to finish tied 20th at eight-under-280.

Chiragh Kumar was tied 41st at four-under-284 and Jyoti Randhawa was tied 59th at even-par-288.
