SSP Chawrasia's win in Manila lifts him 98 places in world ranking to 220th position

Here’s a look at some of the interesting stats relating to SSP Chawrasia’s win at the Resorts World Manila Masters 2016:
 
• Chawrasia’s fifth international and Asian Tour victory. 

• His first win outside India.

• Moves up 98 places to 220th position in the Official World Golf Ranking. 

• His second win of the 2016 Asian Tour season after the Indian Open, became the third player after Scott Hend and Chan shih-Chang to win twice on the Asian Tour this season. 

• Moves into seventh place on the Asian Tour Order of Merit with earnings of US$517,467.

• His 15th win as a professional.

• The third international and Asian Tour win for India this year following SSP Chawrasia’s Indian Open triumph and Gaganjeet Bhullar’s Shinhan Donghae Open victory.

• Chawrasia became the seventh Indian player to win two Asian Tour titles in the same season (after Jeev Milkha Singh, Arjun Atwal, Jyoti Randhawa, Anirban Lahiri, Gaganjeet Bhullar & Rashid Khan).

• The third Indian victory in an Asian Tour event in the Philippines (after Jeev Milkha Singh’s wins at the Philippine Classic 1995 and the Asian Matchplay Championship 1995).

• The 73rd international win for India.

• The 57th Asian Tour title for India.

• The 41st overseas victory for India.
