PGTI Masters 2016 begins at Classic Golf & Country Club on October 4

 Prize purse of Rs. 50 lakh

 Ajeetesh Sandhu, Feroz Ali Mollah, Udayan Mane, Shamim Khan, Mukesh Kumar to headline the field

The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will hold the PGTI Masters 2016, the 11th event of its milestone 10th season, at the Classic Golf & Country Club, from October 4 - 7, 2016. The tournament carries a prize purse of Rs. 50 lakh.

The field will feature some of India’s top professionals such as Ajeetesh Sandhu, Feroz Ali Mollah, Udayan Mane (2015 PGTI Emerging Player), Shamim Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Harendra Gupta, Om Prakash Chouhan, Amardip Sinh Malik and Ashok Kumar, to name a few.

The field will also feature prominent foreign names such as Sri Lankans N Thangaraja and K Prabagaran and Australian Kunal Bhasin.

The Classic Golf & Country Club (CG&CC) is the first South Asian Signature Championship Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The Resort has been built on a 300 acre expanse, at the foothills of the picturesque Aravallis, on the outskirts of India’s national capital, New Delhi. 

The Golf Course comprises of a par 72, 18-hole, 7114-yard Signature Championship Course, and a par 36, 9-hole course of 3135 yard, a Social Club and Sports Complex, which offers various sports activities. Challenges exist in the form of bunkers and water hazards, which give all levels of golfers an opportunity to hone their mental and physical agility.
