Rashid Khan signs off with final round 72, secures tied 41st at European Masters

Rashid Khan (73-65-67-72) of India closed his week at the European Masters with a two-over-72 to secure tied 41st place at three-under-277.

Rashid, lying tied 25th after round three of the European Tour and Asian Tour joint sanctioned event, slipped 16 places on the final day as he managed just two birdies against four bogeys.

The 25-year-old, a double winner on the Asian Tour, had a fruitful front-nine with two birdies, but experienced a reversal of fortune on the back-nine as he dropped four bogeys.

Arjun Atwal, the other Indian to make the cut, ended tied 65th at even-par-280, as a result of his final round of one-over-71. Atwal thus dropped 12 places from his overnight tied 53rd.

The tournament was won by Swede Alex Noren who defeated Australian Scott Hend in a playoff, after the two had ended the regulation 72 holes with identical totals of 17-under-263.
