Jeev Milkha Singh posts top-10 at King's Cup

Chikkarangappa finishes tied 15th

India's Jeev Milkha Singh came up with one of his best results in recent times when he posted a tied 10th finish at the European Tour and Asian Tour joint sanctioned King's Cup in Thailand on Sunday.

Jeev made a slow start to the week with a one-over-71 but then rallied with sub-par scores of 67, 67 and 69 over the next three days to end up with a tournament total of six-under-274. He made an eagle, two birdies and three bogeys in the final round.

This was Jeev's second top-10 of the 2016 Asian Tour season.

The winner Chan Shih-chang of Chinese Taipei finished with a total of 12-under-268.

Chikkarangappa was the second Indian in the top-20. He fired a final round of 72 to slip from overnight tied sixth to tied 15th at four-under-276.

Shiv Kapur rose from overnight tied 62nd to tied 24th as a result of his last round of 66. He totaled two-under-278.

Chiragh Kumar took a share of 37th place at one-under-279 while SSP Chawrasia was a further shot back in tied 43rd.

Gaganjeet Bhullar claimed tied 66th place at four-over-284 and Shubhankar Sharma was tied 75th at six-over-286.
