Chikkarangappa tied fifth after round two of Taifong Open

Chikkarangappa S shot scores of 70 and 71 to be tied fifth after the first two rounds of the Asian Development Tour's Taifong Open.

Chikka's total of three-under-141 placed him three shots behind leader Pavit Tangkamolprasert of Thailand.

Shubhankar Sharma was tied 18th at one-under-143 while Khalin Joshi was tied 44th at two-over-146.

Elsewhere at the European Tour's Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, the Indian trio of Jeev Milkha Singh (147), SSP Chawrasia (149) and Shiv Kapur (154) missed the halfway cut of two-over-146.
