Jeev Milkha Singh tied 21st after opening round in Scotland
Jeev Milkha Singh fired an opening round of even-par-72 at the European Tour's Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open to be placed tied 21st.
Jeev, whose card featured four birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey, was three shots off the lead on day one.
Jeev will be chasing a spot at the British Open this week since the leading four players who finish in the top-12 at the Scottish Open and who are not already exempt for The Open Championship, will earn a place in the field at Royal Troon next week.
Shiv Kapur and SSP Chawrasia shot scores of six-over-78 to be tied 113th.
