Lahiri & Jeev miss the cut at the U.S. Open
Chiragh Kumar finishes tied 23rd at Queen's Cup
The Indian duo of Anirban Lahiri (73-78) and Jeev Milkha Singh (76-79) missed the cut at the U.S. Open 2016 on Saturday.
The cut was declared at five-over-145 after the completion of the second round on Saturday.
While Lahiri missed the qualifying mark by a distance as he totaled 11-over-151, Jeev too crashed out with a total of 15-over-155 thus ending the Indian challenge at the year's second Major.
Elsewhere, at the Asian Tour's Queens' Cup in Thailand, Chiragh Kumar finished as the best-placed Indian as he claimed tied 23rd place after his final round of two-under-69. Chiragh totaled three-under-281 for the week.
Himmat Rai bagged tied 37th place at even-par-284.
Rahil Gangjee and SSP Chawrasia were both tied 39th at one-over-285.
Chikkarangappa was tied 55th at three-over-287.
