  Mohd Azhar claims maiden title at Kolar Open presented by ZION Hills Golf County

  Mohd Azhar carded a one-under 71 to claim his maiden professional title at the second edition of the INR 1 crore Kolar Open at Zion Hills Golf County on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

  The 27-year-old Hyderabad golfer (70-68-70-71) finished at nine-under 279 to secure a two-shot victory. He collected the winner’s cheque of INR 15 lakh and climbed seven places from 17th to 10th in the 2026 DP World PGTI Order of Merit, taking his season’s earnings to INR 35,14,675.

  Shaurya Bhattacharya holds two-shot lead at Kolar Open 2026 presented by ZION Hills Golf County

  Shaurya Bhattacharya shot a one-under 71 to retain a two-shot lead after the third round of the second edition of the INR 1 crore Kolar Open presented by ZION Hills Golf County on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

  The 23-year-old Delhi golfer, who began the day three strokes clear, followed his opening rounds of 68 and 67 with a one-under 71 to reach 10-under 206. His advantage was reduced by one, but he remained in control heading into the final round.

  The DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI), the official sanctioning body of professional golf in India, and ZION Hills Golf County today jointly announced the second edition of the Kolar Open presented by ZION Hills Golf County which will be held at the magnificent ZION Hills Golf County in Kolar, Karnataka, from August 18 – 21, 2026. The total prize purse for the event is INR 1 crore.
