Lahiri stays in contention on rain-marred second day in Texas

On the PGA Tour, India’s Anirban Lahiri stayed in contention at the Dean and Deluca Invitational in Texas where he stood three shots off the lead after playing 12 holes of his second round which was suspended due to bad weather.

Lahiri was one-under for the day and six-under for the tournament and trails leader Bryce Molder by three shots. Anirban began his round with an eagle and followed that up with three birdies and four bogeys.
 
At the European Tour's BMW PGA Championship in England, SSP Chawrasia fired a second round one-over-73 to be tied 49th at even-par-144.
 
Jeev Milkha Singh, on the other hand, missed the cut by one shot after his second round of 75 took his total to two-over-146.
