Anirban Lahiri slips to tied 35th on second day of Wells Fargo Championship
Shiv Kapur tied 35th at King Hassan Trophy
India's Anirban Lahiri, who had produced a six-under-66 in round one of the PGA Tour's Wells Fargo Championship, to be placed third, slipped to tied 35th place on the second day after he returned a contrasting five-over-77.
Lahiri's total stood at one-under-143 at the halfway stage. The reigning Asian Tour number one dropped five bogeys during his second round and did not shoot a single birdie.
Anirban, who was one shot off the pace after the opening round, now trails the leader Andrew Loupe of the United States by seven shots.
In the European Tour's King Hassan Trophy in Morocco, India's Shiv Kapur brought in a card of one-over-73 to move down two positions to tied 35th at one-over-145. Kapur now lies seven shots off the lead.
