Eight teams announced for the 5th Louis Philippe Cup

8 teams comprising of two players from the top 16 ranked professionals on PGTI’s 2015 final order of merit to form a team with a player picked by the sponsors 
In the 5th edition team managers have been brought in to mentor the teams and a three day pre-tournament training camp planned 

The 5th edition of the Louis Philippe Cup will be held at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) in Bengaluru from 30th May – 4th June 2016 and will have 8 city teams vying for glory. The four day, 72 hole tournament approved by the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will have a purse of Rs. 1.2 crore, the second highest for any domestic tournament in India.

Navratna Ahmedabad: Sponsor Pick - Mithun Perera, Team Manager - Devang Shah

Zion Hills Bengaluru: Sponsor Pick - Rahil Gangjee, Team Manager - Tarun Sardesai

Laqshya Mumbai: Sponsor Pick - Chiragh Kumar, Team Manager - Bamby Randhawa

TAKE Chennai: Sponsor Pick - SSP Chawrasia, Team Manager - D Vasu

Dev Chandigarh: Sponsor Pick - Himmat Rai, Team Manager - Jayanan

DLF - The Crest Gurgaon: Sponsor Pick - Manu Gandas, Team Manager - Karan Bindra/Anitya Chand

Jaypee Greens Greater Noida: Sponsor Pick - Rashid Khan, Team Manager - Vijay Divecha

The introduction of highly experienced managers to be attached with each team will further motivate the teams and help them function better as a unit. This year’s event promises to be the most competitive and exciting edition so far.’
