Shubhankar lies tied fourth, one off lead, on day three of PGM Darul Aman

India’s Shubhankar Sharma returned a five-under-67 in round three of the Asian Development Tour’s PGM Darul Aman Championship to occupy joint fourth place at nine-under-207. 

Sharma trailed the joint leaders American John Catlin and Malaysians Irfan Yussof and Airil Rizman Zahari by one stroke.

Shubhankar, who shot consecutive 70s in the first two rounds at the RM200,000 (approximately US$46,600) event, climbed six spots from his overnight tied 10th as a result of his third round 67. 

Sharma, a winner of two titles on the PGTI this season, shot six birdies against a lone bogey in round three.

Chikkarangappa (71-71-70) was placed 23rd at four-under-212 after his third round of 70.
