Khalin Joshi & Jeev Milkha Singh off to solid starts in Taipei & England
India’s Khalin Joshi fired a four-under-68 to get off to a bright start at the Asian Tour’s Yeangder Tournament Players Championship in Taipei. Joshi’s opening round exploits placed him tied third, one behind the joint leaders, the Taipei duo of Lin Wen-tang and Hung Chun-kang.
Joshi made an awesome six birdies and two bogeys on day one.
Gaganjeet Bhullar posted a three-under-69 to be tied ninth. His round featured five birdies and two bogeys.
Angad Cheema shot a one-under-71 to be tied 32nd. Chikkarangappa, Rashid Khan and Shubhankar Sharma were tied 65th with scores of 73.
Himmat Rai and Rahil Gangjee were tied 86th with matching 74s while Chiragh Kumar was a further shot back in tied 108th.
At the European Tour’s British Masters, Jeev Milkha Singh had a good start as he was placed tied 12th, three off the lead, after his opening round of four-under-67. Jeev started the tournament in style with birdies on the first three holes. He went on to add four more birdies and three bogeys to his card.
Shiv Kapur was placed tied 42nd with a one-under-70.
