Jeev Milkha Singh & Shiv Kapur placed tied 25th in Italy
Lahiri lies tied 44th at Small Business Connection Championship
At the 72° OPEN D’ITALIA presented by DAMIANI, India’s Shiv Kapur, who opened his campaign with a seven-under-65 on Thursday, settled for an even-par-72 in round two to slip 23 places from overnight tied second.
Kapur’s two-round total of seven-under-137 placed him tied 25th alongside countryman Jeev Milkha Singh, who carded a three-under-69 on Friday.
Jeev, who had shot a four-under-68 in the opening round, dropped three places from his overnight tied 22nd.
The Indian duo trail co-leaders Jens Fahrbring of Sweden and Dane Lucas Bjerregaard by six shots.
SSP Chawrasia fired a second straight 69 to be tied 41st at six-under-138.
In the Web.com Finals in the U.S., India’s Anirban Lahiri (72-70) shot a 70 for tied 44th place in the Small Business Connection Championship. He is fighting to earn a PGA Tour card by finishing in the top-25 of the money list in the four-leg finals. Last week, he finished tied sixth.
At the Asian Development Tour’s PGM Bukit Jawi Championship, India’s Feroz Singh Garewal (72-71-72) was tied 21st at one-under-215 after round three.
