Anirban Lahiri claims tied sixth at Hotel Fitness Championship, in the hunt for PGA Tour card

A closing birdie saw India’s Anirban Lahiri (69-65-70-71) sign for a one-under- 71 to finish tied sixth at the Hotel Fitness Championship, which is the first leg of the Web.Com finals.

The 28-year-old Indian, who leads the current Asian Tour Order of Merit with two victories, mixed his card with four birdies against three bogeys to finish six shots back of winner Henrik Norlander of Sweden at a total of 13-under-275 at the Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Lahiri has two more tournaments to try and secure his place inside the top 25 on the Web.Com Finals money list in order to earn his PGA Tour card for 2016.
