Khalin Joshi slips to tied seventh in round two of Taifong Open
Jeev Milkha Singh loses second round match at Paul Lawrie Match Play
Khalin Joshi (66-73) fired a one-over-73 in round two of the Asian Development Tour's Taifong Open to slip from overnight tied first to tied seventh. His total score of five-under-139 placed him four shots behind the leader Jordan Sherratt of Australia.
Joshi's second round featured two birdies and three bogeys.
Himmat Rai (two-over-146) and Feroz Singh Garewal (nine-over-153), the other two Indians in the field, missed the cut of one-over-145.
Elsewhere, at the European Tour's Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Match Play, Jeev Milkha Singh lost his second round match to Frenchman Julien Quesne 4 & 3 to crash out of the tournament.
Jeev was 2 Up at one stage, having won the second and fourth holes, but Quesne fought back to win the fifth, sixth, eighth, 11th, 12th and 15th holes to seal the match.
