Anirban Lahiri misses cut in Houston despite second round 69

Anirban Lahiri (74-69) came back well after his opening round of two-over-74 at the PGA Tour's Shell Houston Open as he posted a three-under-69 on the second day. Lahiri, who totaled one-under-143 after two days, however, missed the halfway cut of four-under-140.

Anirban, due to make his debut at the US Masters next week, put up a much improved performance in round two as he sank four birdies against a lone bogey. It was a day that saw him hit more fairways and greens in regulation as compared to round one.
