Anirban Lahiri shoots a 76 in round 2 at WGC-Cadillac Championship
Anirban Lahiri improved on his first round effort of 80 with a four-over-76 in round two of the WGC-Cadillac Championship at the Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida. Lahiri's 76 took his total to 12-over-156 which meant he continued in tied 71st place. American J B Holmes was the leader at nine-under-135.
Anirban began the day with a bogey on the first but managed to pull back a stroke with an accurate third shot on the par-5 eighth that set up a four-feet birdie putt for him.
Lahiri then found the water hazard on the 14th and as a result dropped a double-bogey. The 27-year-old making his first start on the PGA Tour closed the round with bogeys on the last two holes. He found the water once again on the 18th.
