Honey Baisoya lies tied 47th in First Stage of Qualifying School

Honey Baisoya of India shot a two-over-73 to lie tied 47th after round one of the Qualifying School First Stage Section B at Springfield Royal Country Club in Hua Hin, Thailand. Frenchman Romain Bechu leads the field at six-under-65.

The top 31 players from a field of 141 will make it through to the Final Stage from the First Stage Section B at Springfield Royal Country Club.

Feroz Singh Garewal, the second Indian in the field, carded a three-over-74 in the first round to be tied 64th.

Samarth Dwivedi of India qualified for the Final Stage from First Stage Section A after he finished tied ninth at Imperial Lakeview Golf Club, Hua Hin. The top 22 players made it to the Final Stage from First Stage Section A at Imperial Lakeview Golf Club.
