Lahiri placed tied 53rd at halfway stage of CIMB Classic

Anirban Lahiri, India's lone representative at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia, ended round two in tied 53rd place at two-over-146 after rounds of 74 and 72 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club.

American Bill Hurley III was the halfway leader at 10-under-134 at the US$ 7 million event jointly sanctioned by the PGA Tour and Asian Tour.

Lahiri climbed one place from his overnight tied 54th after an even-par-72 on day two that featured five birdies, a bogey and two double-bogeys.
