Lahiri in tied 73rd in Switzerland, best placed Indian after round 1
Anirban Lahiri shot an even-par-70 to be the highest-placed Indian at tied 73rd after round one of the European Masters in Switzerland. Lahiri’s round featured four birdies and four bogeys and placed him eight shots behind the joint leaders Richie Ramsay of Scotland and Italy’s Edoardo Molinari.
Digvijay Singh occupied tied 95th place after a score of one-over-71.
Jeev Milkha Singh, Rahil Gangjee, Jyoti Randhawa and Rashid Khan all returned cards of 72 to be tied 111th.
Gaganjeet Bhullar (73) was in joint 123rd place while Shiv Kapur (74) was a further shot back in tied 138th. SSP Chowrasia (75) was placed tied 145th.
