PGTI Feeder Tour event at Faridabad begins on August 27
Prize purse of Rs. 6 lakh
The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will stage the third event of its 2014 Feeder Tour season at the Aravalli Golf Club in Faridabad, from August 27 – 29, 2014. The tournament carries a prize purse of Rs. 6 lakh.
The tournament at Faridabad will have a field of 72 players. The event will be played over three rounds of 18 holes each with the cut being applied after 36 holes.
The field at Faridabad will feature top Indian professionals such as Noida’s Gaurav Pratap Singh, a former winner on the Feeder Tour, and Deepinder Singh Kullar of the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon. The local challenge will be lead by Faridabad’s Ramesh Kumar.
The winner of the 2014 PGTI Feeder Tour Order of Merit will get an exemption to play on the PGTI in 2015. Akshay Sharma of Chandigarh, the winner of the season’s opening event in Jaipur, currently leads the Feeder Tour Order of Merit.
A total of six events with prize purse of Rs. 6 lakh each will be played during the 2014 PGTI Feeder Tour season.
