Shiv Kapur placed tied 50th after round three in France
Shiv Kapur was placed tied 50th at five-over-218 after round three of the European Tour's Alstom Open de France. Kapur, the only Indian to make the cut, shot scores of 73, 69 and 76 in the first three rounds to trail the leader American Kevin Stadler by 14 shots.
Three players, who are not already exempt and who finish in the top ten at the Alstom Open de France, will secure places in The Open Championship at Royal Liverpool from 17-20 July.
