Bhullar & Lahiri off to good starts in Germany
India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar got off to an encouraging start at the BMW International Open by opening with a five-under- 67 to take a share of 10th place.
The five-time Asian Tour winner and EurAsia Cup star mixed his card with five birdies, an eagle and two bogeys to trail Spain’s Rafa Cabrera-Bello and England’s Danny Willett by three shots.
Fellow compatriot Anirban Lahiri was not far behind Bhullar as he carded a 68 to be placed tied 19th.
Jeev Milkha Singh posted a 71 to tie for 65th place while Shiv Kapur returned a 73 to be tied 111th.
Over in the United States, Arjun Atwal shot a two-over-73 to be tied 62nd at the Quicken Loans National in Maryland.
