PGTI Feeder Tour 2014 tees-off with opening event in Jaipur

Six events in 2014 with prize purse of Rs. 6 lakh each

The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will stage the opening event of its 2014 Feeder Tour season at the Rambagh Golf Club, Jaipur, from 18 – 20 June, 2014. The Feeder Tour is set to stage six tournaments in the 2014 season with each tournament carrying a prize purse of Rs. 6 lakh. 

The Feeder Tour events will have a maximum field of 90 players and will be played over three rounds of 18 holes each with the cut being applied after 36 holes.

The field at the opening event in Jaipur will feature top Indian professionals such as local lad Vishal Singh, Rahul Bajaj of Noida, a former winner at Jaipur and 2010 Asian Games silver medalist as well as Arjun Singh Chaudhri of Noida, the 2013 PGTI Feeder Tour Order of Merit champion.

Besides Vishal Singh, the other professionals from Jaipur participating in the event include Yogendra Kumawat, Damodar Kumawat, Kamal Kumawat and Mahesh Yadav.

The second event of the season will be played at the Madhuban Meadows Golf Course in Karnal from 24 – 26 June, 2014.
