Kapur lies tied 47th after round three in Dubai
Shiv Kapur (72-70-70) carded a two-under-70 in round 3 of the Dubai Desert Classic to be placed tied 47th at four-under-212. Kapur trails the leader Stephen Gallacher of Scotland by 12 shots.
Kapur, the lone Indian to make the cut, made four birdies and two bogeys in his third round on Saturday.
The 31-year-old Kapur, who has made the cut in each of his four starts on the 2013-14 European Tour season, climbed from overnight tied 58th to tied 47th as a result of his 70 in round three.
