Bollineni Panache & Telangana Tourism presents Telangana Golconda Masters returns for its ninth edition
Field to feature Udayan Mane, Om Prakash Chouhan, Rahil Gangjee, Karan Pratap Singh
Prize Purse raised to INR 1 crore
The Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA) and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the official sanctioning body of professional golf in India, today announced the Bollineni Panache & Telangana Tourism presents Telangana Golconda Masters 2023 which will be held at the Hyderabad Golf Club (HGC) from September 27 – 30, 2023. The prize purse has been raised to INR 1 crore this year. The Pro-Am event will be held on September 26.
The tournament which will witness participation by 126 golfers (123 professionals and three amateurs) is supported by Presenting Partner Bollineni Panache, Co-Presenting Partner Telangana Tourism, Host Venue Hyderabad Golf Association and Hospitality Partner The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace. The Government of Telangana has supported the event from its inception in 2015.
The top Indian professionals in the fray include Olympian Udayan Mane (2018 & 2020 winner), PGTI Order of Merit leader Om Prakash Chouhan, Rahil Gangjee, Aman Raj, Karan Pratap Singh, Sunhit Bishnoi, Harshjeet Singh Sethie and Gaurav Pratap Singh, to name a few.
The foreign challenge will be led by Bangladeshis Badal Hossain and Md Akbar Hossain, Japan’s Makoto Iwasaki, Andorra’s Kevin Esteve Rigaill as well as Canada’s Sukhraj Singh Gill.
The local challenge will be led by Hyderabad-based players including professionals Haider Hussain, Mohd Azhar and Hardik S Chawda as well as amateurs Vilok Gadwal, Adit Ahluwalia and Tarun Ajay.

We have a strong international field of 126 players and look forward to a closely contested competition this year. We have a total prize money of INR 1 crore for the first time. We thank the PGTI and TTDC for hosting this event year on year at the historic picturesque HGA.”

Promoted by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation and the Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA), the 212-acre expanse provides an 18-hole, 6200-yard, par-71 layout that also features a floodlit driving range, a pro shop, a golf fitting shop, and training & practice facilities. A modern clubhouse with dining hall, lounge, open deck, change rooms, and trained staff is also in place.
The mission of the project is to set up an international standard golf course, a golf training academy and to put Hyderabad on the International Golfing map. The ‘Best Tourism Friendly Golf Course’ award bestowed on it by National Tourism, reiterates the pleasant experience that HGA provides. The Hyderabad Golf Club offers 18 challenging holes that bring players up close with the heritage and beauty of the Deccan hinterland - Golconda Fort and Naya Quila in particular.
