Shubhankar Sharma shoots third round 75 in Ireland, slips to tied fourth

India's Shubhankar Sharma returned a third round of three-over 75 to slip three spots to tied fourth at the DP World Tour's Horizon Irish Open being played at The K Club.

The 27-year-old Sharma (65-66-75), the sole leader in round one and joint leader in round two, now has a total of 10-under 206 and thus trails the leader Hurly Long of Germany by three shots at the Palmer North Course.

Shubhankar, a two-time winner on the DP World Tour who also registered a tied eighth result at The Open this year, an Indian record, made two birdies, three bogeys and a double-bogey during his round on Saturday.

Sharma, currently placed 183rd in the Official World Golf Ranking and 65th in the Race to Dubai Ranking, had a poor front-nine on day three where he made a double-bogey and a bogey. He had a relatively better back-nine where he picked up two birdies in exchange for two bogeys.
