Yashas Chandra claims tied seventh at Laguna Phuket Challenge on Asian Development Tour

Khalin Joshi starts well at Asian Tour's GS Caltex Maekyung Open, lies tied fifth after first round of 68

Yashas Chandra (68-67-65) finished tied seventh at 10-under 200 at the Laguna Phuket Challenge on the Asian Development Tour.

Yashas struck a five-under 65 in the third and final round featuring seven birdies and two bogeys to gain 10 spots.

The event was won by Tom Sloman of England with a total score of 19-under 191.

Elsewhere at the Asian Tour's GS Caltex Maekyung Open being played in Korea, Khalin Joshi began his week with a three-under 68 to be placed tied fifth, three shots off the lead in round one.
