Viraj Madappa continues in the lead on day three

Karandeep Kochhar is in second place

Viraj Madappa (66-68-71) returned a one-under 71 to continue at the top of the leaderboard for the third day in succession at the Asian Games Selection Trials at KGA, Bengaluru.

Madappa enjoyed a two-shot lead after round three as his total stood at 11-under 205.

Karandeep Kochhar (69-69-69) carded a third straight 69 to occupy second place at nine-under 207.

Rashid Khan posted the day’s best score of 67 to be tied for third place at eight-under 208 along with Veer Ahlawat (69).

At the end of round five, the four best scores out of five will be taken into account for each player before determining the two qualifiers for the Asian Games.
