Rashid Khan shoots phenomenal final round of 62 to claim tied sixth place at Royal's Cup
Chikkarangappa finishes tied 12th
Rashid Khan (72-69-70-62) produced a phenomenal 10-under 62 in the final round at the Royal's Cup in Thailand to rise 41 spots and claim tied sixth place at a total of 15-under 273.
Two-time Asian Tour winner Rashid's flawless last round featured six birdies on the front-nine and four on the back-nine. He had a run of three consecutive birdies on three occasions.
Khan, lying overnight tied 47th, eventually finished eight shots behind the champion Chan Shih-chang of Chinese Taipei at the Grand Prix Golf Club in Kanchanaburi.
Chikkarangappa S (67-67-70-70), who was tied fifth after day three, fired a fourth round score of 70 to secure tied 12th place at 14-under 274. Chikka, like Rashid, also had an error-free day.
Rahil Gangjee took tied 38th place at nine-under 279.
Viraj Madappa and Aman Raj finished tied 45th at seven-under 281.
