Shubhankar Sharma continues impressive run as he claims tied ninth place at the BMW PGA Championship on the European Tour to rise 26 spots to 78th position in the Race to Dubai Rankings.
Shubhankar's (70-69-68-66) third top-10 of the season came as a result of an outstanding final round of six-under 66 that saw him finish with a total of 15-under 273, four shots behind the champion Billy Horschel of the United States.
Sharma's final round consisted of seven birdies and a bogey and helped him climb five spots from his overnight tied 14th.
It was Shubhankar's fourth top-20 in his last five appearances.
He is now making rapid strides towards making it to the top-60 for the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
With seven events remaining in the current European Tour season, Shubhankar is now almost certain of retaining his card for next season.
