Anirban Lahiri finishes tied 46th at Wyndham Championship, retains his PGA Tour card for next season
Anirban Lahiri (67-69-67-70) shot an even-par 70 in round four of the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship to finish tied 46th at seven-under 273.
Lahiri, who closed the day with birdies on the last two holes, had four birdies and four bogeys to show on his card. He dropped 18 places on the leaderboard in the last round.
American Kevin Kisner won a six-way playoff to lift the Wyndham Championship trophy after he was tied at 15-under 265 along with compatriot Kevin Na, Australia's Adam Scott, Canada's Roger Sloan, South African Branden Grace and Korean Si Woo Kim, at the end of the regulation 72 holes.
Anirban slipped three spots to 121st place in the FedExCup standings following his tied 46th at the Wyndham Championship. However, that was good enough for him to retain his PGA Tour card for next season as he was placed inside the top-125.
Lahiri will be playing The Northern Trust next week which will be the first of the FedExCup Playoff events.
The top 125 will tee up in The Northern Trust at Liberty National in New Jersey on Thursday, followed by the top 70 at the BMW Championship and the leading 30 at the Playoffs Finale, the TOUR Championship which will crown the new FedExCup champion.
