Shubhankar Sharma secures tied ninth at the Cazoo Classic after a final round of 68; Sharma posts his second straight top-20 and second top-10 of the current European Tour season
Shubhankar Sharma (70-71-68-68) shot a second straight four-under 68 in the final round of the European Tour's Cazoo Classic to rise 10 spots and end the week in tied ninth at a total score of 11-under 277.
Shubhankar thus posted a second straight top-20 following his tied 16th at last week's Hero Open. The result lifted Sharma nine spots to 115th place in the Race to Dubai standings.
Shubhankar's round included five birdies and a bogey.
It was also the Indian's second top-10 of the current European Tour season. Sharma had, earlier this year in May, claimed a season-best tied eighth at the Made in HimmerLand event.
The Cazoo Classic was won by Scotsman Calum Hill at a total of 16-under 272.
