Anirban fires third round 68 to be tied 18th at Barbasol Championship

Anirban Lahiri (68-67-68) fired a third round of four-under-68 to be placed tied 18th at a total of 13-under-203 at the PGA Tour's Barbasol Championship.

Anirban slipped eight spots from his overnight tied 10th at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

The Indian star now trails the leader, J.T. Poston of the United States, by six shots.

On Saturday, Lahiri sank an 11-feet eagle putt on the par-5 fifth hole and followed that up with four birdies and two bogeys.

He made some long birdie conversions from a range of 13 to 17 feet. His last birdie came on the 17th where he converted from 17 feet.

Anirban, who will be heading to the Tokyo Olympics to represent India in a few days time, will be looking for a good finish this week in order to improve on his current FedExCup ranking of 127.

Lahiri so far has four top-25 finishes in the current PGA Tour season including two top-10s.
