Anirban Lahiri's final round 67 helps him finish tied 25th at Palmetto Championship at Congaree

Anirban Lahiri's (69-73-70-67) top-notch final round of four-under-67 propelled him 20 spots from his overnight tied 45th and helped him finish in tied 25th place at a total of five-under-279 at the PGA Tour's Palmetto Championship at Congaree.

Lahiri's last round featured six birdies and two bogeys. He was four-under through the front-nine and then added a birdie and bogey each on the back-nine.

Anirban thus moved up from 354 to 340 in the Official World Golf Ranking in his last event before the Olympic qualification cut-off date of June 21. He also made gains in the FedExCup standings moving up from 122 to 115.

It was Anirban's fourth top-25 finish of the current PGA Tour season and signalled a welcome return to form for him as he had missed the cut in his previous three starts. His four top-25s so far also include two top-10 finishes including a season-best fifth place at the Valero Texas Open.

South African Garrick Higgo won the Palmetto Championship with a total score of 11-under-273.
