Rahil Gangjee records a season-best tied 10th at Gateway To The Open Mizuno Open
Rahil Gangjee (69-66-72) shot a final round of even-par-72 at the Gateway To The Open Mizuno Open in Okayama, Japan, to record his season-best finish of tied 10th on the Japan Golf Tour.
The 42-year-old Gangjee, who ended the week with a total of nine-under-207 at the 54-hole event, thus improved on his tied 11th finish last week.
Rahil has now moved up nine spots from 61st to 52nd position on the Japan Golf Tour's Order of Merit.
Gangjee, who began the last round in tied third position, four shots off the lead, made two birdies and two bogeys on his front-nine.
Thereafter, Rahil dropped down the leaderboard with bogeys on the 10th and 15th.
He finally rallied with an eagle on the par-5 18th to post his first top-10 of the season.
