SSP Chawrasia registers his season-best tied 15th at Austrian Golf Open

India’s SSP Chawrasia (72-68-73-70) delivered a two-under-70 in the final round of the European Tour’s Austrian Golf Open at Atzenbrugg to register his season-best finish of tied 15th. Chawrasia, who slipped one spot from his overnight tied 14th, totaled five-under-283 for the week.

SSP, a six-time international winner, produced three birdies and a bogey on Sunday.

The tournament was won by American John Catlin who overcame Germany’s Maximilian Kieffer on the fifth playoff hole after the two had ended the regulation 72 holes with identical totals of 14-under-274.

The Indian duo of Ajeetesh Sandhu (77-70-73-72) and Shubhankar Sharma (75-68-72-77) ended tied 61st at four-over-292.
