Harmeet Kahlon's team wins the first Pro-Am event of the McLeod Russel Tour Championship 2013

The first Pro-Am event of the McLeod Russel Tour Championship 2013 was won by the team led by Chandigarh-based professional Harmeet Kahlon.

The Pro-Am event was played in the Stableford format wherein each team comprised one professional and three amateurs. The team score comprised the aggregate of the professional score and two best amateur net scores (out of three) on each hole over 18 holes.

The event was won by PGTI member Harmeet Kahlon’s team. Kahlon’s team comprised of amateurs Dr. Surajit Mitra, Mr. Kallol Dutta and Mr. Sunil Bajaj. Their team’s score was 128. They beat the second-placed team on the basis of a countback of the last three holes.

PGTI member Gurbaaz Mann’s team finished runners-up with a total of 128. The amateurs who made up Mann’s team were Mr. Karanbir Choudhury, Mr. Mayukh Mitra and Mr. Jitendra Khaitan.

The second Pro-Am event of the tournament will be played on Wednesday, December 25th.
