Chief Ministers at PGTI events
Here’s a look at the sitting Chief Ministers who graced PGTI sanctioned & co-sanctioned events.
The Hon'ble Prime Minister and former Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi was the Chief Guest at the prize presentation ceremony of the inaugural Gujarat Kensville Challenge staged in 2011 at the Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad. The Chief Minister also practiced some putting before the prize presentation. The event was jointly sanctioned by the European Challenge Tour and PGTI.
The Hon'ble Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shri Arjun Munda, a keen golfer, inaugurated and played the Pro-Am event of the 10th TATA Open 2011 at the Beldih Golf Course in Jamshedpur.
The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana Shri K Chandrashekar Rao was the Chief Guest at the press conference of the inaugural Golconda Masters staged in 2015 at the Hyderabad Golf Club. The Chief Minister flagged off the event with some putting after the press conference.
The former Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr. Mukul Sangma was the Chief Guest at the press conference of the Chief Minister's Meghalaya Open Golf 2016 staged at the Shillong Golf Club. The Chief Minister announced the event open by teeing off at the driving range.
