Ranjit Singh leads his team to victory at the Pro-Am event of the 12th TATA Open
The Pro-Am event of the 12th TATA Open witnessed amateur golfers from the Tata Group and Jamshedpur play alongside some of the top professional golfers in the country.
The Pro-Am event was played in the Team Stableford format with each team comprising of one professional and three amateurs.
The event was won by PGTI member Ranjit Singh’s team. Ranjit’s team comprised of amateurs Dr. Eric Lui, Dr. Rita Jha and Mr. Nitin Khosla. Their team total was 122.
PGTI member Vinod Kumar’s team finished runners-up with a team total of 119. The amateurs who made up Vinod’s team were Mr. Killol Kamani, Dr. S Rawat and Ms. Roopali.
The straight drive contest on hole no. 12 at Beldih Golf Club was won by Mr. Mansoor Ali whose drive landed seven and a half inches from the centre of the fairway.
The straight drive contest on hole no. 8 at Golmuri Golf Club was won by Dr. Rita Jha whose drive landed on the line defining the centre of the fairway.
The closest to the pin contest on hole no. 7 at Golmuri Golf Club was won by Mrs. Alka Garg as her tee shot stopped 16 feet and five inches from the hole.
The closest to the pin contest on hole no. 17 at Beldih Golf Club was won by Mr. Rajiv Mehta. His tee shot ended up at a distance of four feet and nine inches from the hole.
