Lahiri claims tied fourth position at Thailand Golf Championship

Bhullar secures tied 10th place

Anirban Lahiri recorded the best finish among the Indians at the Thailand Golf Championship as he claimed tied fourth position with a total score of 13-under-275. Gaganjeet Bhullar was the second Indian in the top-10 as he secured tied 10th place at 10-under-278. Spaniard Sergio Garcia won the event with a total of 22-under-266.

Anirban Lahiri (71-64-67-73), currently ranked fifth on the Asian Tour Order of Merit, fired a 73 in the final round on Sunday to slip from overnight tied second to joint fourth. Interestingly, Lahiri played the final round in the leader group alongside global superstars Sergio Garcia of Spain and Sweden’s Henrik Stenson.

Gaganjeet Bhullar (66-73-69-70) climbed from overnight tied 11th to tied 10th place after posting a 70 in the last round. Bhullar is currently the highest-ranked Indian on the Asian Tour Order of Merit as he is placed fourth.

Sujjan Singh grabbed a share of 30th place at five-under-283 while Jeev Milkha Singh finished tied 36th at four-under-284.
